Buena Egret

Last night, a Little Egret was reported from Buena, a small brackish wetland area not far from our summer house. I checked the site later that same evening, but did not see the bird. This morning it showed up again, and these pictures were taken when the first rays of sunlight hit the bird at about 7 a.m.

This bird represents the tenth record for Hordaland, and the first for Bjørnafjorden municipality.
